Marketplace Content License

1. Licensed, not sold

Content is licensed to you, not sold. ChristChant keeps all copyright, title and other rights in it. Paying for a clip, or receiving one with a plan, gives you the license below and nothing more.

2. Who holds the license

The organization (the church or ministry) whose account got the Content, whether by buying it, through its plan, or because it is free. The license belongs to that organization, not to one person, and is not transferable. If the organization stops being entitled to an item, for example because a plan ends for an item that came with that plan, the license for that item ends too, except for anything it bought outright.

3. What you may do

• Show the Content in your organization's worship services, events, classes and meetings, on any number of screens.
• Include it in your own live streams, broadcasts and recordings of those services, where it appears as part of the presentation.
• Use it in presentations, songs and templates you make in ChristChant, and share those presentations with your own team through the app.
• Where an item is sold as a downloadable file, keep the file and use it in other presentation software for your own organization.

4. What you may not do

• Sell, share, upload, give away or otherwise distribute the Content itself, or any copy, edit or extract of it, as a file, a template or a stock asset.
• Use it outside your organization, or let another organization use it.
• Use it in a logo, trademark or product for resale, or claim it as your own work.
• Use it to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model, or to build a competing library.
• Remove or change this notice, the copyright information in the file, the preview watermark, or the protection around a sealed file, or try to get around that protection.

5. Protected files

Some Content is delivered in a sealed format that plays only inside ChristChant for organizations entitled to it. Previews and thumbnails carry a watermark. These are technical measures that protect the Content and the people who paid for it. Circumventing them breaches this license.

6. Free, bundled and plan items

Free items, items bundled in the installer and items included with a plan are licensed on the same terms. We may change what is included with a plan or remove an item from the store. Removing an item from the store does not take it from an organization that already has it installed, unless we have to remove it for a legal reason such as a rights claim, in which case we will tell you.

7. Paid items and refunds

Paid items are paid for as described in the Payment Terms and refunded under the Payment & Refund Policy.

8. Our promise about the Content

We make or hold the rights to the Content we provide, and we do not knowingly include other people's music, logos, fonts or recognisable people in it. If you believe an item infringes your rights, follow the copyright notice process in section 6 of the Terms of Service. We act on valid notices.

9. Ending the license

The license ends if you break these terms. When it ends, stop using the Content and delete every copy you hold outside the app. Sections 1, 4, 10 and 11 continue after it ends.

10. No warranty, limited liability

Content is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it suits your purpose or will work with every screen or system, and our liability for Content is limited as set out in the Terms of Service. Nothing here limits any right you have under Philippine consumer law that cannot be waived.

11. Governing law

This license is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and the courts named in the Terms of Service have jurisdiction over it.

12. Changes

We may update this license. A change applies to Content you get after the change; for Content you already have, the license in force when you got it continues to apply unless the change is in your favour.
