Colour-code verses, choruses and bridges
Pick a colour theme for song sections so you can see where you are in a song at a glance during the service.
On this page
Every song is made of sections: verse, chorus, bridge and so on. ChristChant colours each section so the operator can find it instantly in a busy service.
Choose a theme
- Open Settings, then Song Setting.
- Open Color Themes.
- Choose a preset and it is marked Applied.
Make your own
Preset themes cannot be edited, but you can copy them.
- Choose Duplicate on a preset, or New Theme.
- For each Group, such as Verse, Chorus or Bridge, pick a Color.
- Apply your theme.
These colours are for the operator. They do not change what the congregation sees: for that, see Choose a look for lyrics and scripture.
Jump to a section by key
Each section also has a one-letter key: V for Verse, C for Chorus, B for Bridge and so on. Change them under Edit, then Key Mapping. See Keyboard shortcuts and how to change them.
