Stream to YouTube, Facebook and more at the same time
Add extra destinations to Direct Live so the same picture and sound go out to several platforms from one encode.
On this page
Direct Live sends your Broadcast screen straight to the internet. With Also stream to, the same picture and sound go to more than one platform at once, from a single encode.
Add a destination
- Set up your main destination first, as described in Broadcast Studio: quality, sound mixer and stream health.
- Open the Broadcast Studio from the Provider tab of the Master panel.
- Find Also stream to and choose Add a destination.
- Choose the platform. For a custom server, enter the Server URL, which begins with rtmp:// or rtmps://.
- Paste the stream key from that platform.
The key is saved and encrypted on this computer. Afterwards it shows as Saved securely. Paste a new key to replace it.
Each destination stands on its own
- Each one connects, reconnects and can fail independently, so a problem on one platform does not stop the others.
- You can switch a destination off without deleting it.
- The panel shows the total upload the destinations need together.
Changes apply the next time you go live.
