Add text effects to lyrics and slides
Gentle entrances and steady styles such as shadow, lift and echo, applied from the text toolbar.
Last checked 1 min read
Text effects change how words appear: some animate in as the slide arrives, others give the text a steady style such as a soft shadow or an outline.
- Select a text box in the Slide Editor, or in a template you are editing.
- Open Effects in the text toolbar.
- Pick an effect. The editor plays it so you can see it before going live.
- Steady styles (shadow, lift, hollow, splice, echo) stay on the text the whole time it is shown.
- Entrance effects play once when the slide comes up.
- More effects are in Marketplace → Text Effects.
