Choose your media folders and audio outputs
Tell ChristChant where your videos, images and music live, and pick which speakers play video sound and background music.
ChristChant scans three folders for your media. By default it uses your system folders, and you can point each one somewhere else, such as a church drive or an external disk.
| Library | Default folder | Used by |
|---|---|---|
| Video | Your Videos folder | Video search and the Video pipeline |
| Music | Your Music folder | The music player |
| Image | Your Pictures folder | Image search and slideshows |
Change a library folder
- For videos and images, open Settings, then Audio & Media, and pick the Video or Images tab. Choose the folder. Subfolders are included. The steps are in Play a video on your screens and Show pictures and run a slideshow.
- For music, stay in Audio & Media, pick the Audio tab, and choose the Music Library Folder. See Play background music and playlists.
- To go back to the standard folder, choose Reset to Default.
Choose where the sound comes out
Open Settings, then Audio & Media. Under Output Routing there are two pickers:
- Main Video Audio: the device for the main program and projector video sound.
- Music Player Audio: the device for the background music player.
Leave a picker on System default to use whatever the computer is currently using. Choose the refresh button after you plug in a new device so it appears in the list.
