Play a video on your screens
Point ChristChant at your video folder, preview a clip privately, then feed it live with a full transport: play, seek, fade out, repeat and speed.

A baptism testimony, a mission video, a sermon illustration: ChristChant plays clips on your screens with the same Preview, then Feed to Live rhythm as songs and scripture, so nothing reaches the congregation until you decide.
Show ChristChant where your videos are
- Open Settings → Audio & Media and choose the Video tab.
- Under Video Library Folder, click Browse Folder and pick the folder that holds your clips. Subfolders are included.
- Open the Videos tab at the bottom of the window. Your clips appear there, ready to search.
Find a clip
Type in the search box to look through titles, tags and filenames. On the left you can narrow the list to Recent, Favorites or your own Collections, and group clips with tags. Right-click a clip to add it to a collection or mark it a favorite.
Preview it, then go live
- Click a clip in the library. It opens in the Preview, and only you can see it.
- Move your pointer across the picture to skim through the clip's frames, or press Quick look for a muted play-through. The sound wave under the picture shows where the loud and quiet parts are, and tells you if the clip has no audio.
- When you're ready, click Feed & Go Live. The clip appears on your screens.

Control the clip while it plays
Once a clip is live, the Video tab of the Live Controller shows what is on air and a control bar beneath it.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Play / Pause | Starts or holds the clip. The keyboard shortcut is K or Space. |
| Back 10 / Forward 10 | Jumps 10 seconds either way, with J and L. |
| Wave bar | Click or drag anywhere on it to seek. |
| Fade | Fades the sound and stops the clip smoothly. Shortcut: F. |
| Volume and mute | Sets the clip's loudness. M mutes. |
| Repeat and speed | Click the small repeat button to choose Repeat Off, One or All, and speed from 0.5× to 2×. |
Other ways to use a clip
- Right-click a clip and choose Add to Queue to put it in your plan. See Plan a service.
- Choose Play on Lobby Screen to send it to an extra screen on its own, or Add to Playlist to build a lobby loop. See Add more screens.

Something is on screen that shouldn't be.
Click Black at the top right of the window. See Black and clear.
