Announcements, a scripture photo, a mission-trip gallery: ChristChant shows pictures through the Image pipeline, and a group of images becomes a deck you can step through or play as a slideshow.

Show ChristChant where your pictures are

  1. Open Settings → Audio & Media and choose the Images tab.
  2. Under Image Library Folder, click Browse Folder and pick your pictures folder. Subfolders are included.
  3. Open the Images tab at the bottom of the window to see your library.
The Images tab shows your picture library.

Search by name or tag, and filter by Recent, Favorites, file type or your own Collections. Double-click a picture to view it full size.

Put pictures in your plan

Right-click an image and choose Add to Plan. Select several first (click one, then shift-click another) and the choice becomes Add 3 Images to Plan, which makes an Image Deck with all of them.

Preview, then go live

  1. Choose the image or deck from your plan. Its pictures appear as cards in the Preview.
  2. Click a card to see it large. Use the arrows to move through the deck.
  3. Click Feed & Go Live to put the deck on your screens.

See Preview, Feed and Go Live for how the Preview and Live sides work together.

Arrange the deck

  • Click the edit button above the cards to rearrange or remove pictures.
  • Drop more pictures from your library, or from Finder or File Explorer, onto the deck to add them.
  • Duplicate or delete a single picture from its card.
  • Use the slider at the bottom to show more or fewer cards per row.

Choose how a picture fits

Right-click a picture and choose an Image Fit:

FitResult
Fit, black or white backgroundShows the whole picture, with a plain black or white border where it doesn't fill the screen.
Fill (crop)Fills the screen edge to edge and crops what doesn't fit.
Blur BackgroundShows the whole picture over a soft blurred copy of itself.

Slideshow and transitions

Press the play button in the Live Controller to advance by itself. Pick 3s, 7s or 12s, or choose Custom for any time from 1 to 600 seconds. The repeat button decides whether the show wraps back to the first picture or stops at the last, and a countdown shows the time left in this pass through the deck.

The transition menu above the deck sets one transition for every picture: None, Fade, Drift, Zoom, Blur, Slide Up, Slide Down, Swipe Left, Swipe Right or Breathe.

Can I use a picture as a background instead?

Yes. Right-click it and choose Set as Background. For moving backgrounds, see Motion backgrounds and images.
