Draw on the live screen from your phone
Use the pen and highlighter on the remote to point at a verse, circle a word or underline a line while it is on the screens.

The phone remote can do more than advance slides. The annotator lets you draw directly on what the congregation is seeing, so you can underline a phrase in a verse or circle a number in a notice.
Start annotating
- Pair the phone and let the slide you want appear on its screen.
- Open Annotate on the phone.
- Choose a tool, then draw with your finger.
Tools
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pen | Draws a clear line, for underlining and circling. |
| Highlighter | Draws a translucent band over the words. |
| Eraser | Removes strokes you drew. |
| Colour | Pick a colour from the palette. |
| Size | Change the thickness of the stroke. |
| Undo | Take back the last stroke. |
| Clear all | Wipes every mark from the slide. |
Your strokes go on the slide itself, not on a copy of it. The phone sends points in the slide's own coordinates, so a line you draw lands in the same place on every screen, whatever its size.
Move between slides
Use the Previous slide and Next slide buttons in the annotation view to move to another slide.
If the app says it could not tell which slide is on air, advance a slide on the desktop to resync.

More in Team & remote
- Keep the band in sync: cues, click and talkbackSend the band a cue on the Stage screen, run a click on their phones, and speak to them through talkback, all from the Team Sync panel.
- Pair a phone as the remoteConnect a phone with a QR code or PIN, give it a role, and approve it at the booth. Works over your Wi-Fi, or over the app's own hotspot on Windows.
- Choose a role for each phone: Pastor, Media Team, Worship Leader or Worship TeamEvery phone you pair gets a role that decides what it may do, so a drummer cannot black out the screen and a pastor can still draw on a verse.
- Use the ChristChant mobile app on its own: Bible, songs and notesThe phone app is also a full offline Bible and a place to study, journal and prepare, even when it is not paired to a desktop.
