Use the ChristChant mobile app on its own: Bible, songs and notes

The phone app is also a full offline Bible and a place to study, journal and prepare, even when it is not paired to a desktop.

The ChristChant mobile app is two things: a remote for the booth computer, and a complete personal app for your phone. Pairing is optional. Everything below works by itself.

What is in it

  • Bible reader: read offline, switch translations, and download more from the Bible downloads screen.
  • Highlights and bookmarks: mark verses and come back to them.
  • Notes and journal: write notes on verses and keep a daily journal, with search.
  • Songs and chords: open songs with chord charts and transposition.
  • Lyric editor: write and edit lyrics on your phone.
  • Assistant: ask for a verse or a song in plain language.
  • Planned services and calendar sync: see what is coming up, and sync it to your phone calendar.
  • Service notes: carry your notes in a drawer instead of on paper.

Getting started

  1. Install the app and open it.
  2. Create an account or sign in, or choose Skip to look around first. Creating an account opens christchant.com.
  3. The app sets up your Bible the first time it opens, so allow a moment on a good connection.

Use it as a remote

When you are at the booth, pair the phone to control the service. See Pair a phone as the remote, and Draw on the live screen from your phone.

Do I need a paid plan for the phone app?

No. The Bible, notes and the other personal tools are free. The remote and annotator need the desktop to be on Premium.
