Team & remote

Choose a role for each phone: Pastor, Media Team, Worship Leader or Worship Team

Every phone you pair gets a role that decides what it may do, so a drummer cannot black out the screen and a pastor can still draw on a verse.

Not everyone on the team should control the screens. When you pair a phone, you choose a role. The role is a job description, not a rank: it decides which parts of the service that phone can see and change.

Choose the role before you pair

  1. Click Remote in the header to open Remote device connection.
  2. Under Pair next device as, choose a role. The line under the picker explains it.
  3. Generate the session and pair the phone. See Pair a phone as the remote.

Which role for whom

  • Pastor: the person who preaches, or the lead operator. Full control of the desktop.
  • Media Team: the booth volunteer working from a phone. Drives screens and cues, but cannot change the key or annotate.
  • Worship Leader: the person who sets the song. Reads charts, changes key mid-song, sends stage cues and hears them.
  • Worship Team: the band. Charts, lyrics, schedules, the click and the group chat. Cannot put words on the stage monitor, only ask the booth to show a message to the congregation.

Manage connected phones

In the same window, Connected devices lists each phone with a Disconnect button. Blocked devices lists phones you have blocked, with an Unblock button.
