Set up the stage monitor for the band and speaker
Give the people on the platform their own view: lyrics with chords, the key, what's next, the clock and timers, plus quick cues from the booth.
The Stage Screen faces the platform, not the congregation. It's the one screen that shows lyrics with chords, so the band can follow along, and it can carry the time, a countdown and messages from the booth. ChristChant gives it its own layout for each kind of content, so it always shows what matters at that moment.
Choose a stage layout
- Click Layouts in the menu bar.
- Under 16:9, choose Stage.
- Pick the kind of content at the top: Song, Bible, Slide, Video or Image.
- Click a design to preview it on the right, filled with whatever is live now.
- Click Use on Stage. From then on, the Stage Screen uses it whenever that kind of content is live.
Each kind of content has its own designs (Midnight Glass, Golden Hour, Velvet, Mono, Aurora, Ember and Sanctuary), so you can give songs a chord-heavy view and scripture a big, readable one.
Make your own
Click Duplicate on a built-in design to make an editable copy under Your layouts, or New layout to start from scratch. Double-click one of yours to edit it.
Send a cue to the stage
Need the band to repeat the chorus, or the speaker to wrap up? A stage cue flashes a short message on the Stage Screen for a few seconds. The congregation never sees it.
- Under New cue, type a Button label (what you'll see) and the Stage text (what the stage sees).
- Click Add cue. You can keep up to 50.
- During the service, click a cue's play button to send it to the stage.
ChristChant starts you off with Repeat Chorus, Go to Bridge and Drop / Soft. A worship leader or pastor with a paired phone can send cues straight from the platform too.
Why are Stage layouts only under 16:9?
The Stage Screen is designed at 16:9, which suits almost every confidence monitor. Main Screen layouts come in every size, because the screens facing the congregation vary much more.
The band can't see chords
Chords only show if the song has them. Add chords in the song editor: see Chord charts and changing key mid-service. They never appear on the Main Screen.
