General settings: church profile, appearance, startup and auto save
Where to set your church name and logo, switch between dark and light, start ChristChant with the computer, and let it save your service automatically.
Open Settings, then General for preferences that apply to the whole application.
Organization
Your church's name and logo show here. They are managed from your account, so they are shared across every computer signed in to it. Change them in your account, and they update on each machine.
Language
English is the only language available today. More are in progress, and this will become a picker as soon as they are ready.
Appearance
On the Display tab, choose Dark, Light or System, or one of the 12 Moods themes, and set Interface scale from 80% to 140%. These change the operator console only. Projector and output screens always keep their own look. See Change the console theme and Interface Scale.
Startup
- Launch at system startup: open ChristChant automatically when you sign in to the computer. Useful for a dedicated booth machine.
- Reopen last service: restore the previous session's playlists when the app launches.
Auto save
Turn on Enable auto save to silently save the open service in the background, and choose how often with Save every. Even with auto save on, it is good practice to save before the service starts.
Other places in Settings
- Advanced: automatic backups, restore, Reset to Defaults for all settings, and a Danger Zone. See Back up your library and restore it.
- Account: your account and subscription. See Sign-in and plan problems.
- Audio & Media: output devices and music folder. See Choose your media folders and audio outputs.
