One computer at a time: how your plan seat works

Your plan runs on a single computer at once. Learn what that means, how to switch computers, and what the Second computer message says.

A ChristChant plan includes one seat. The computer that holds the seat is watermark-free, and other computers signed in to the same account run on the Free plan until you move the seat.

Why one computer

The seat keeps one subscription on one booth computer at a time. Moving it is quick, so a church with a booth computer and a backup laptop can swap whenever it needs to.

If you see Second computer

On a second computer, ChristChant shows Second computer in the title bar and a banner. It says which computer is using the plan, and when it was last seen. Your subscription is fine. Nothing is wrong with billing.

  1. Click the plan badge in the title bar, or choose Use on This Computer in the banner.
  2. Check the window: it shows which computer the plan is in use on, and this computer.
  3. Choose Use on This Computer.

The plan moves, and the watermark clears on this computer. The other computer will then show Second computer instead, and you can switch back at any time from either one.

Manage devices in your account

Sign in at account.christchant.com (opens in a new tab) and open Devices to see the computers on your account and move the seat from the browser.

Trials and computers

The free trial is once per account, and once per computer. If a shared church computer already used its trial on a different account, you will see Trial already used on this computer: subscribe, or contact support.
