Choose fonts for your text, installed or built in
ChristChant ships with a library of fonts for worship slides, and can also use the fonts installed on your computer.
On this page
The right typeface does as much for a slide as the words. ChristChant has fonts built in, so your slides look the same on any computer, and it can use your own installed fonts as well.
Pick a font
- Select a piece of text on a slide.
- In the text controls, open Typography.
- Choose a font source: app fonts that come with ChristChant, or the fonts installed on this PC.
- Type in the search box to find a font quickly, and choose it.
- Choose a weight, such as regular, medium or bold, if the font offers it.
The built-in fonts
The app fonts are bundled with ChristChant, so they work offline and nothing needs installing. They cover the looks a church uses most:
- Serif and reverent: Cormorant Garamond, Cinzel, EB Garamond, Libre Baskerville, Playfair Display, Lora, Cardo and Vollkorn.
- Clean and modern: Inter, Montserrat, Poppins, Raleway, Open Sans, Roboto and Work Sans.
- Bold headings: Bebas Neue, Anton, Oswald, League Gothic and Archivo Black.
- Script and handwriting: Great Vibes, Dancing Script, Parisienne, Pinyon Script, Caveat and Sacramento.
Your own fonts
The installed-fonts tab lists the fonts installed on this computer. If you installed a new font while ChristChant was open, use Refresh installed fonts.
To animate or style text, see Add text effects to lyrics and slides and Add entrance animations and slide transitions.
