  1. 1. Extend, do not mirror
  2. 2. Refresh and check the connection
  3. 3. Choose the right display for each screen
  4. 4. Check the picture
  5. 5. Check the plan

If the projector shows nothing, or the output appears on the wrong display, check these in order.

1. Extend, do not mirror

  • Windows: press Windows + P and choose Extend.
  • Mac: open System Settings, then Displays, and make sure Mirror is off.

ChristChant needs the projector to be a separate display. In mirror mode it has nowhere else to put the output.

2. Refresh and check the connection

  1. Check the cable and that the projector is on the right input.
  2. Open Screens in ChristChant.
  3. Choose Refresh displays.
  4. The screen should show Display attached. If it shows Not attached, pick a display from the list.

3. Choose the right display for each screen

Each screen, such as Main, Stage or Lobby, is attached to one physical display. Click the display you want for the screen. See Set up your screens.

4. Check the picture

  • Wrong size or cut off: check Resolution and Scaling. Fit letterboxes the picture, Fill crops it and Stretch distorts it.
  • Upside down or flipped: check Rotation and the mirror options.
  • Nothing opens on launch: Open automatically on startup needs a second display. With only the operator screen, nothing opens.

5. Check the plan

The number of output screens depends on your plan: one on the Free plan, and unlimited on Premium. See What each plan unlocks.
