When you build a sermon slide or a custom lyric slide, you do not have to retype a song. The Slide Editor has a Songs tab that reads from the same song library as the Song browser.

Add lyrics

  1. Open a slide in the Slide Editor. See Design your own slides in the Slide Editor.
  2. In the left rail, choose Songs.
  3. Type in Search title, artist or lyrics, then open the song.
  4. Tick the Sections you want, such as Verse 1 and Chorus. A preview shows what you will get.
  5. Pick a Lyric style. Each is previewed live. Choose More styles for the rest.
  6. Under How to add, choose All on this slide or A slide each.
  7. Choose Add to this slide.
Pick a song from the Songs panel in the Slide Editor.

The text takes its colour from the slide's own background, so it stays readable. Everything lands as ordinary editable text, so you can move it, resize it, or change the font.

Next: Choose fonts for your text and Add text effects to lyrics and slides.
